Although various apps are available to support your daily activities, it's important to remember that smartphones have limited storage. A large number of apps can allegedly affect your phone's performance and battery life. Therefore, here are a few apps you should consider deleting from your phone.

1. Antivirus
The threat of viruses often makes smartphone users anxious. But did you know that antivirus software can actually cause your battery to drain quickly? Rather than relying on it to save your phone from viruses, it's far better to use your phone wisely by not opening random websites and only downloading official apps from the Google Play Store.

2. Battery Saver Apps
Apps that claim to save battery power can actually become a burden on your phone. On the contrary, these free-to-download apps can cause your battery to drain fast due to their continuous background processes.

3. Bloatware
Hotel booking apps, games, and many other default apps from various smartphone brands can unknowingly add to your phone's burden. It is perfectly fine if you want to get rid of this bloatware by opening the App Info screen for the app, and then choosing to either delete or disable it.

4. Phone Cleaner Apps
This type of app is one of the most unnecessary apps that people install. One example is Clean Master. In reality, to remove leftover data in the cache after deleting an app, you only need to open the Settings menu, then Storage, and select Clear Cache.

5. Default Browsers
Besides bloatware, Android phones are usually also equipped with default browsers developed or included by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, these default browsers consume a lot of battery power and internet data. If you want to save both, you can use Chrome, which is specifically designed to reduce internet data usage.
