Jakarta can be called the "New York of Indonesia." This metropolitan city is known for its skyscrapers adorned with beautiful lights at night. However, there are 3 neighborhoods that have become popular and hype hangout spots for the city's youth. Where are they? Keep reading this article!
 
1. Kemang
Who doesn't know this area? The Kemang neighborhood is known as a favorite hangout spot for Jakarta's young people. You can find many bars and lounges here, as well as unique cafes. Some examples include Beer Garden, Beer Brothers, and Frank's, among many other bars and lounges frequented by the city's it-crowd
 
In addition, this area also has many comfortable cafes that are great for hanging out. A few of the cool cafes in Kemang include Dia.Lo.Gue Art Space and other fun and interesting spots, which can be pleasant places to grab coffee and relax.

2. Senopati
In recent years, this area has become a hype hangout spot in Jakarta. The Senopati neighborhood is filled with a variety of cafes and classy fine dining restaurants. The people who come here are typically young professionals with stable jobs and careers. Senopati can be said to have a distinct atmosphere compared to Kemang because it caters to a different, more specific segment.

3. SCBD
Sudirman Central Business District, also known as SCBD, is one of the prime areas and a favorite hangout spot for today's youth. Although surrounded by offices and skyscrapers, this neighborhood is an exclusive area for relaxing and unwinding from your busy day.
 
You'll also find a selection of cafes, clubs, bars, and lounges here, such as Bengkel, Lucy In The Sky, and Ashta District 8. Or, if you want something more relaxed, you can visit Entrada for Spanish cuisine, Kaffeine for a nice cup of coffee, or Pacific Place and Galeries Lafayette if you want to hang out and shop at the same time.
